Who are we

Class Act Opera is owned and run by Operatunity Entertainment Ltd, a company which specialises in presenting high quality musical concerts in all regions of New Zealand. The three partners are well known Auckland singers, Susan Boland,Geoffrey Hughes and John Cameron.

Our philosophy is that opera is an art form that should be more accessible to everyone - Opera for All.

Class Act Opera has been featured in several of the major arts festivals in New Zealand, most notably the International Festival of the Arts. All the singers, including guest artists and accompanists enjoy successful professional careers and come together for four months of every year to tour opera to schools. Our core artists have performed for some of New Zealand's most exacting employers including NBR New Zealand Opera, National Opera of Wellington, Canterbury Opera, The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Auckland Philharmonia as well as being soloists in Opera in The Park, and have released CD's and appeared on television and recorded for radio many times.
