Following sold out national tours, the well-known ensemble: Three Tenors and Soprano reunite for That's Amore. We are transported to Italy through famous songs and ballads as the ensemble encapsulate the essence and excitement of this intrinsically musically rich country.
The Three Tenors are comprised of Bonaventure Allan-Moetaua and Derek Hill, (both tenors are with New Zealand Opera) and exciting young talent Kalauni Pouvalu.
Italy has been responsible for many of the most thrilling songs ever written. That's Amore will feature many of these fabulous songs including Nessun Dorma, O Sole Mio, Come Back to Sorrento, Santa Lucia, Time to Say Goodbye and Mambo Italiano.

At concerts: You can book for future concerts in person at any of our concerts, please talk to the Operatunity Staff at the Box office on the day.
Do I have to book?
Some of our concerts sell out months in advance and we cannot guarantee that door sales will be available at every performance. Making a booking will avoid disappointment if the show has sold out. Also, it is very helpful with our catering if your tickets are booked in advance.
What happens if I have a ticket but can’t make it anymore?
If you provide us with 7 days notice we are able to transfer that ticket to another concert or venue. Unfortunately we cannot provide refunds.
Is there allocated or reserved seating?
No. All of our seating is general admission: first come, first seated. However, if you have a specific requirement e.g. Wheelchair, Vision Impaired etc... We will do our best to accommodate you. Please phone our office for further information (toll free) 0508 266 237.
Can I book with a group?
A group booking may be pencilled in and confirmed closer to date of the concert, usually 1 month prior. A 20% deposit for large groups may also be required.
Payment for group bookings can be made in advance, where we are then able to post the tickets out to you, which avoids the need to queue up on the day.
If paying for your group on the day, we recommend that the group organiser makes one payment and collects the tickets to distribute to the group.
For large group bookings we are happy to offer complimentary tickets to the group organiser, bus driver, or care giver, please ask about this when making your booking.
What time does the concert start and finish?
Our Daytime Concerts always start at 11am and will finish between 12:30pm and 12:45pm. If our 11am show has sold out well in advance, we will occasionally run and second performance at 2pm on the same day.
What time should I arrive at the concert?
We generally recommend that people arrive from 10am onwards. Arriving early can help with parking and will give you access to a larger choice of seating. There is also morning tea available for a gold coin donation.
If you have specific seating requirements or mobility issues we advise you to arrive early to ensure you get the best seat available for your needs.
How much are the programmes?
Programmes are free of charge at all of our concerts and are available at the entrance to the auditorium.
Who are your performers?
Operatunity employs a wide variety of professional artists ranging from singers to pianists and instrumentalists. Many of our artists have busy performance careers in New Zealand and overseas.
What sort of music is presented?
We present a wide variety of styles throughout the year ranging from classically themed concerts to songs from the shows and Modern Musicals to Hit’s from the 50’s and 60’s to name a few. Each of our 8 Daytime shows has its own special flavour so there is bound to be something that appeals to any musical taste.
Is there parking available?
All of our venues have some parking available however these car parks can be taken quite early. There is usually street parking available nearby.
What if we are arriving in a bus/mini-bus?
At most of our venues it is possible to drop people off outside the main entrance. We may be able to reserve a spot for a bus/mini-bus to park if we have advance notice of your arrival.
Are your venues accessible for wheelchairs?
Yes, all of our venues are able to accommodate wheelchairs however at some of our venues wheelchair spaces are limited so it is advised that you let us know in advance if you require one of these spaces. Please phone our office for further information (toll free) 0508 266 237.
Do you have disabled seating available?
We usually place a number of signs on selected seats marking them for people with mobility, hearing or vision problems. Please phone our office if you require one of these seats.
What is included in the lunch?
Lunch is made up of a whole sandwich packed into a sealed plastic container, a dessert item which can either be a muffin, cake or slice. Tea and Coffee is also included.
Can you cater for special dietary needs?
Unfortunately we cannot cater to special dietary requirements.
What time is lunch?
Lunch commences at the end of the performance and usually lasts half an hour; you are most welcome to leave at your leisure.
Where is lunch served?
It varies from venue to venue but generally lunch is served in the foyer of the venue or in an adjacent function room.
Is there seating provided for lunch?
Each venue has a limited number seats available for lunch on a first come first served basis, some venues allow us to let people take food back into the auditorium, please ask on the day if unsure. If there is a special reason you need a seat for lunch, please talk to the Operatunity staff at the box office on the day of the performance and this can be arranged.
