To all our Operatunity Family,
In light of the announcement tonight that Auckland has gone into Level 3 and the rest of the country into Level 2, John and I, with regret, have cancelled all remaining concerts in The Crooners season: Remuera, Pukekohe, Te Atatu and Papakura.
As you will be aware we are unable to do the concerts at Level 3 which takes us up to Wednesday with Auckland’s current restrictions. To give you and our artists certainty and also with due care for you all, we cannot do our Papakura concert on Thursday even if levels change this week to protect our customer base given the location of that concert in South Auckland.
I am so sorry to have to let you know this and thank our artists on this tour for their incredible talents, generosity and hard work during this tour.
The office will be in touch in the next couple of days to sort out Crooners ticket transfers, refunds or donations.
For those of you scheduled on trips to either the Coromandel or Art Deco this week, we will be in touch with you individually tomorrow.
We of course thank you for your continued support, love and care of Operatunity and our staff and artists.
Be kind to each other and the world at present. Keep your chin up and we look forward to seeing you when we can.
With love and best wishes,
Sue, John and all the team at Operatunity.

Buying a season pass is the cheapest way to see all Operatunity concerts in a given year at your preferred venue. It gives you peace of mind, knowing that you have a confirmed booking and you will skip the queue on the day! Your Season pass automatically reserves you a place for each of the 8 concerts. Season Pass holders can transfer their ticket to another venue for the same concert
should they need to, but you MUST advise the office prior to the concert so we can reserve your seat.
Not able to commit to every show in 2021?
Our Pick ‘n’ Mix tickets have fast become our most popular ticket option. They give you flexibility and a discount when you book 1 ticket per person for a minimum of 4 shows in advance.
• All Pick ‘n’ Mix tickets must be pre-paid, including any tickets booked at a later date for additional shows.
• Extra tickets booked to the same concert will be at the single ticket price.
• If you are unable to attend an upcoming show, we are more than happy to transfer that ticket to another concert (of the same year) when you give at least 7 days’ notice. Unfortunately we cannot provide refunds.
Groups are strongly encouraged to make a single pre-payment for their tickets, but also have the option to pick up and pay at the door if you are paying individually. A 20% deposit for large groups may also be required.
Call our office to pencil book your group and we’ll give you a call to confirm your numbers 10 days before the concert. Book in for 1 show, or the whole year!

At concerts: You can book for future concerts in person at any of our concerts, please talk to the Operatunity Staff at the Box office on the day.
Some of our concerts sell out months in advance and we cannot guarantee that door sales will be available at every performance. Making a booking will avoid disappointment if the show has sold out. Also, it is very helpful for our catering if your tickets are booked in advance - we wouldn't want anyone to miss out on lunch after the show!
Is there parking available?
All of our venues have some parking available however these car parks can be taken quite early. There is usually street parking available nearby.
What if we are arriving in a bus/mini-bus?
At most of our venues it is possible to drop people off outside the main entrance in a marked 'drop-off zone'.
Are your venues accessible for wheelchairs?
Yes, all of our venues are able to accommodate wheelchairs, however at some of our venues wheelchair spaces are limited so it is advised that you let us know in advance if you require one of these spaces. Please phone our office for further information (toll free) 0508 266 237.
Do you have disabled seating available?
We usually place a number of signs on selected seats marking them for people with mobility, hearing or vision problems. Please phone our office if you require one of these seats.
What is included in the lunch?
Lunch is made up of a whole sandwich packed into a sealed container and a dessert item which will either be a muffin, cake or slice. Tea and coffee is also included.
Can you cater for special dietary needs?
Unfortunately, we cannot cater to special dietary requirements; those with food allergies are more than welcome to bring their own lunch if you wish to eat at the venue.
What time is lunch?
Lunch commences at the end of the performance and usually lasts half an hour; you are most welcome to leave at your leisure.
Where is lunch served?
It varies from venue to venue but generally lunch is served in the foyer of the venue or in an adjacent function room.
