To all our Operatunity Family,
Due to the Government announcement about Level 2 and 3 lockdowns around New Zealand, it is with regret that we cancel our 20th Anniversary Concerts for this week: Carterton, Kapiti, Palmerston North, Whanganui and New Plymouth.
As this is a such an important concert in the history of Operatunity it is our hope that we will reschedule these concerts to a later date. With this in mind we will not be processing ticket sales until we can confirm when these new concert dates will be. We hope to let you know the rescheduled dates in the next few days. Once we can confirm an alternate date, we will process all tickets either as a simple transfer to your new date, or credits, refunds or donations depending on your instructions.
Today’s message is simply telling you the concerts will not be going ahead for this week. We will send you another message as soon as we can to let you know your rescheduled lower North Island dates, any further updates and about ticket processing.
Please be patient while we sort through these new lockdown stressors. All our staff will be working from home which means we will be contactable in a limited capacity by phone this week.
A decision will be made later this week regarding our South Island concerts due to start next weekend, 7 March 2021. Please note that we are unable to operate any concerts unless we are at level 1.
A decision on our Waiheke trip will be made, dependent on Auckland level lockdown and we will let you know the status of this trip as soon as we can.
Please take care of yourselves and keep smiling. We understand it is a stressful time at present for everyone but remember to be kind to yourself and those around you.
We look forward to seeing you all as soon as we can.
With love and best wishes,
Sue, John and all the team at Operatunity.
