Level 2 Update

Hi to all our Operatunity Family,

In light of New Zealand moving into Level 2 I want to give you an update on our company position as we move into this next new level.

Operatunity is one of the few companies in New Zealand who is unable to trade at Level 2. This means we cannot do concerts or trips at present yet. But note the word yet! We are champing at the bit to get going but only when it is the right time legally and when we can do so while protecting your health and safety.

In the next few days we will be contacting Celtic Celebration customers and our travel customers individually.

However, I want you to know that we will be unable to proceed with our next show Celtic Celebration. For those holding tickets for this show we will formally notify you early next week to sort out the processing of your paid tickets.

For those of you who are booked on trips for 2020, either rescheduled or future 2020 trips, we will be sending you formal credit notes, more information plus options for our planned trips for the remainder of 2020.

Once we have contacted these specific groups we will send all of you updates about future trips and concerts we are hoping to do as soon as we can. Life has been extremely busy for our Operatunity staff over the past few weeks with the changes and planning required at present.

In our Mother’s Day Special Happiness Half Hour,  I wrote “Never have I been more proud to be a New Zealander than at this moment.”  I am sure this is a sentiment that is shared by us all at present, when we look at the terrible sadness and stress the world is dealing with.

Our Prime Minister talks about the team of 5 million people in New Zealand. Well, Operatunity is a team of many, many thousands with a core of 17 incredible staff. Yes it has been stressful but collectively as a country or as a company we are working tirelessly to do the right thing, work together with love and integrity and conquer challenges with unity and strength.

I continue to thank you, our amazing staff and incredible customers for all your ongoing support and love.

Now keep safe and keep enjoying our Happiness Half Hours. Thanks again for all your fabulous feedback!

I will be back in touch with more details over the next few weeks as we hopefully move towards Level 1.

With our love and best wishes,

Sue and John
