THURSDAY 03 SEPTEMBER 2026 (D)

The Langham Melbourne (4 nights)

Experience 5-star hospitality in a superb location on the Southbank Promenade. The elegant interior features a grand marble staircase, cascading fountains and magnificent chandeliers.

Highlights Include: 

•  This morning, we fly from Auckland to Melbourne and have a short driving tour of the city on arrival.

• Check-in at The Langham Melbourne, followed by a casual dinner at the local Irish pub, maybe a tune from Marian and then an early night after our travel day.

FRIDAY 04 SEPTEMBER 2026 (B, L, D)

Highlights Include: 

• Step aboard the Melbourne Tramboat for a unique Yarra River cruise (on the world’s first floating tram), that combines the charm of a tram with the serenity of a boat. Departing from Victoria Harbour we cruise past iconic landmarks while enjoying morning tea refreshments and lunch.

• Afternoon free to relax before tonight’s special event.

• Tonight we enjoy a welcome dinner and concert from our artists: Country Roads, a concert combining popular hits from around the world and famous country songs!

SATURDAY 05 SEPTEMBER 2026 (B, L)

Highlights Include: 

• Today we travel to the Macedon Ranges, a region of nine historic villages and dramatic landscapes, including the famous Hanging Rock.

• Wine tasting at a local winery in the Macedon Ranges, known for its cool climate wines, followed by lunch.

• Tonight, we enjoy an evening off to meet friends or experience a dizzying array of dining options that this foodie town is famous for.

SUNDAY 06 SEPTEMBER 2026 (B, HT)

Highlights Include: 

• A free morning for you to enjoy your own sightseeing, shopping and dining experiences. You may like to browse the stalls of the Sunday Market at Southgate, located along the promenade outside our hotel.

• Late afternoon High-Tea at The Windsor Hotel, a Melbourne Icon since 1883.

• This evening, we experience The Neil Diamond Musical, A Beautiful Noise. The uplifting true story of how a kid from Brooklyn became a chart busting, show-stopping American rock icon. Featuring classics “Forever in Blue Jeans”, “Sweet Caroline” and many more favourites.

MONDAY 07 SEPTEMBER 2026 (B, L)

Mantra Hotel, Albury (2 nights)

Mantra Hotel Albury is a well-appointed contemporary hotel with spacious rooms, onsite eatery and bar and fully equipped fitness room. Located in the CBD, you’ll be within a stroll of the city’s art gallery and the leafy botanic gardens.

Highlights Include:

• Today we travel from Melbourne to Albury located in southern New South Wales on the border with Victoria.

• Stop at Ned Kelly Discovery Hub - site of the infamous 1880 siege that marked the end of Ned Kelly’s bush-ranging days, followed by lunch at a local country tavern.

• Continue on to Albury and check in at our hotel.

• Evening free to enjoy your own dinner arrangements.

TUESDAY 08 SEPTEMBER 2026 (B, D)

Highlights Include: 

• Guided tour at the Bonegilla Migrant Camp. This moving and insightful visit brings to life the stories of thousands of migrants who began their Australian journey after World War II.

• Admire the impressive engineering of Hume Dam from a viewing platform and walk across the dam wall for spectacular views east to Lake Hume and west to the Murray River.

• Free afternoon to stroll through the Albury Botanic Gardens or along the riverfront, check out an exhibition at the Murray Art Museum or relax at the hotel.

• Dinner this evening with concert from our artists entitled Downunder, a celebration of Kiwi and Aussie nostalgic hits plus some funny ones as well!

• Today we travel from Canberra to Sydney.

• Experience the greatest of fun and merriment surrounded by the nostalgic charm of yesteryear for a 2-hour guided tour of Fairground Follies, with interactive cultural music, Folk Art, Mechanical Music and a 100-year-old carousel.

• Free time in Bowral for shopping and your own lunch. There’s a plethora of bespoke stores offering homewares, clothing, footwear, artisan food, antiques and jewellery. You’ll be spoilt for choice!

• Guided tour of Old Government House - built by convicts, it is the oldest surviving public building in Australia. This former grand country residence is home to the National Trust’s premier colonial furniture collection, early textiles and significant homewares from the time of the Governors.

• A free day for shopping and your own tours. Why not hop on a ferry to Watsons Bay and enjoy Fish & Chips at the famous Doyles on the beach or head over to Manly and explore its beautiful beaches, cool cafes and shops along the Corso.

• Final night gala dinner and concert from our artists: Showstoppers, featuring hits from the headliners, including from Vegas, Rat Pack, Music theatre and more!

Mobility - Moderate Tour

This trip has a little more walking than an easy tour. It is a moderate tour for one of the following reasons - you may need to walk with ease for up to one hour at a slow pace or be able to climb stairs or be able to get on and off boats, trains and buses. This trip will not suit those on walkers and a moderate level of mobility is required.
