A trip with a difference as we enjoy a week of music making together. We form a choir, learn songs, enjoy movement, yodelling, singing classes and lots of fun, and then present a finale concert together, all while drinking wine and eating great food in the Barossa Valley.

TUESDAY 10 JUNE 2025 (L, D) 

Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort & Spa

A 5-star resort located on Four Mile Beach, tropical North Queensland - gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest. It is situated around one of the largest lagoon pools in the Southern Hemisphere.

Highlights Include: 

• We fly direct to Cairns, stopping for lunch on arrival and a short tour of Cairns. (Flight details to be confirmed once Air NZ confirms flights).

• This evening our dinner and entertainment takes place in the restaurant beside the lagoon of this beautiful hotel as we enjoy dinner and music: America here we come! Featuring famous American songs, music theatre, Elvis, Rat Pack - a variety show and a perfect way to start our beautiful musical tour.

WEDNESDAY 11 JUNE 2025 (B, AT, D)

Highlights Include: 

• Drive to Kuranda where we will embark on our scenic rail journey through the beautiful rainforest and the Barron Falls. 

• Dinner and an evening featuring English ballads, Gilbert and Sullivan, Noel Coward and war songs, entitled Last Night of the Proms on the outer terrace overlooking the lagoon. A fab evening in a fab setting!

THURSDAY 12 JUNE 2025 (B, MT, L, AT)

Highlights Include: 

• Full day cruise tour to Great Barrier Reef with beautiful corals and incredible marine life.

• Time for viewing in a semi-submerged submarine,

for diving and snorkelling with three spectacular reefs,

as well as enjoying a delicious tropical lunch.

• Our evening is free to relax or perhaps explore the

many great restaurants in Port Douglas.

FRIDAY 13 JUNE 2025 (B, L, AT)

Highlights Include: 

• Drive to the famous Daintree Rainforest, a tropical rainforest, enjoy a river cruise with a BBQ lunch and a Billy Tea afternoon tea.

• A chance to sit back and enjoy a movie night, Rocketman, the story of Elton John, complete with popcorn and sweets!

SATURDAY 14 JUNE 2025 (B, L, D)

Highlights Include: 

• A tour at Hartley’s Crocodile Farm, an award-winning attraction, created on a World Heritage Park. We cruise the wetlands, watching crocodiles, birds and other wildlife, plus see a crocodile show. Lunch is included - don’t worry, we are not lunch!

• Dinner is included this evening.

SUNDAY 15 JUNE 2025 (B, D)

Highlights Include: 

• Time for the famous Port Douglas markets and shopping this morning, with time for lunch in town if you wish (own cost).

• Free time to relax by the pool this afternoon.

• This evening, we welcome you to our event, Magical Musicals featuring hits from music theatre.

MONDAY 16 JUNE 2025 (B, D)

Highlights Include: 

• A free day to enjoy the facilities of the hotel or explore Port Douglas.

• Tonight, our spectacular finale event! We enjoy dinner and our concert Celtic Celebration at the famous Flames of the Forest, encapsulating all the mystic and haunting music of this gentle concert against a background of the mystical forest.

TUESDAY 17 JUNE 2025 (B) 

Today we fly home filled with wonderful memories, music and new friends.

This Trip Includes:

• Return economy airfare Auckland/Cairns/Auckland flying Air New Zealand including taxes. (Flight schedule to be confirmed with Air NZ when possible due to changes in scheduling).  

• 7 nights’ accommodation at the 5-star Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort & Spa, surrounded by magnificent pools and beside Four Mile Beach.  

• Themed musical events presented by our favourite artists: Sue, John, Karl, Russ, Marian, Charlotte and Grant.

• Music themes include Last Night of the Proms; Celtic Celebration, encapsulating all the mystic and haunting music of this genre against a background of the mystical rain forest; America here we come! a perfect way to start our fabulous musical tour and Magical Musicals featuring hits from music theatre.

• Full day tour to the Daintree Forest, a world heritage site including a river cruise and Aussie BBQ.  

• Full day tour to the Great Barrier Reef, also a world heritage site including lunchtime on a pontoon, a viewing in a semi-submerged submarine and optional snorkelling, and a singalong on the way home!  

• Numerous tours including Kuranda train ride and Hartley’s Crocodile farm includes crocodile show, cruise with live crocodiles and lunch (you are not the lunch!).

• Bank transfer payments incur no surcharge. Credit card payments incur surcharge of 1.5%.

• Travellers need to be independently mobile and fit to travel.

Mobility - Easy Tour

This tour will suit people with a stick, but not a walker or in a wheelchair. You will be required to walk to get from place to place and stand in museums and gardens, but it is designed to be an easy tour with lots of time to rest, travel on a coach and walk easy leisurely distances. You will need to be able to get on and off a bus with ease. If you are unsure, please ring the office to discuss your suitability for our tours.
